Promises for Life

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37

For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

My Messenger Bag

I decided to make this Messenger Bag while taking individual sewing classes with an instructor. I could not believe how much time and effort it took to select the materials, cut out the patterns, and begin putting it together. Although it was very complex to make, I am really pleased with the final product. I never imagined that I could make a bag!

Father's Day Present for my husband

I made this Lion using Yo-Yo's for my husband. The reason I chose the lion is because our last name means Lion in Spanish. I figured he can put the Lion in his police car to keep him company. I am naming the Lion "My Guardian Angel".

Memory Quilt ~ Family Love

I decided to make a memory quilt for my cousin Rozie's birthday present. It was surprising to see how hard it was trying to find family pictures, but finally we found the pictures we decided to use. I was very pleased with my final product. Savoring our family memories!!!

Espire Machine Cover

I really enjoyed making this machine cover.

Inspiration here.

Ellisimo Machine Cover

Betsy has been such an inspiration and mentor in making this new venture possible for me. She suggested after I made the bib and monkey that I should make covers for both of my sewing machines. Here they are!

Bee Monkey and Pillow

I wanted to make a present for "Nancy from Delancey" for Mother's Day. Well, I decided to make her this bee monkey but had not found the "Perfect" material that reinforced her passion and love for bees. After a month of shopping I finally came across this beautiful material which had MANY colorful bees. Now I could make her bee monkey. What a Beauty!

Now that the bee monkey was successfully completed, which by no means was an easy task, Betsy taught me how to make the cover for the pillow. I really enjoyed making that pillow cover. What was more interesting was how quickly Betsy taught me how to make the flower I attached to the right corner of the pillow. Wow! Now that was fun! : )

Mother's Day ~ I gave "Nancy from Delancey" her presents made with love and a plant to accompany it. This was an ultra special day for me!

I made this for my mother "Nancy from Delancey".

Nancy has encouraged me to take on any task in life whether difficult or not. This new embroidery, quilting and sewing venture was not an easy one to embark on because of fear. With the ENCOURAGEMENT of Nancy and Betsy it has been made possible.

Well, here I am today to show the world that one can be successful at anything they choose to do in life, if they give it a try. Nancy has often shared this story with me to inspire me at times when I have needed it the most. I would like to share it with you.

Bumblebees are not designed for flying. According to the laws of aerodynamics, they should not be able to get off the ground. Yet, every day millions of these little creatures defy the odds - THEY DO FLY!!!

So remember ...
B ~ Be aware of who you are and what you are.
E ~ Eliminate the negative elements and influences in your life.
E ~ Expect the best of yourself.

God Bless you!

Bib and Bag
